The 2015 Mustang had a new look with retro cues like the LED gills in the headlights, and the 2016 Mustang brought back hood-mounted turn signals. If !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is anything to go by, future Mustangs will take the retro theme yet further by reintroducing sealed lights all around.

How much different can the lights be?

Is it sad I like this look?

It’s one way to solve the yellowed headlight housings...

even better if they’re pop-up!

When the retro styling cues are used up, looking to the 80s for more is NOT a solution

I don’t actually expect the headlights (single units that are themselves a retro cue, IIRC) and taillights (a signature cue) to change - the turn signals, foglights and their surrounds are probably what’ll change.

Absolutely

They better not change the taillights. The last time they looked this good was 1968:
Also, how can we be sure they’re sealed beams?

‘fraid so.

So will the front look like a Taurus coupe still?

Ah, the Ford Mustang Lotus/Caterham/Morgan edition.
For the sophisticated palette.
